My family & I had to drive back home because my dad didn't feel well, so we didn't get a chance to stay. The staff was kind enough not to charge us for a last minute cancelation. That was very kind so I wanted to write a good review. We're sorry we missed it!

I have made this place my stay for the last 10 years and we loved it until now and it really kills me to say this but the room stinks there was still trash in the fridge and half the lights dont work and I've never seen that here ever:( so disapointed it hurts cause this was my/our getaway from casper and i cant belive my vacatalk... When I talked this place up so much to everyone and to see it like this now sucks really bad. They have a camper and a uhual taking up customer parking where the use to have the office with that parking is a nightmare. I come here 5-10 times a year min cause its my small town getaway, relax, swim and this was 100 times better than the "Days Inn" or anyone else here. What happened?

Right on the main road at the south central end of town, this place is quirky and fun. We were here following the total eclipse in August, 2017, and because of the huge demand, we were in the only remaining room (reserved 5 months in advance), a suite. Sleeps 4, with a separate bedroom, table and chairs, small fridge, microwave, and a beautiful, newly refurbished bath. There are antlers everywhere, in the rooms, on the exterior, and the light fixtures. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were quite clean, and the staff gave us a nice welcome, as well as a lot of friendly advice about all the local attractions (fabulous Wyoming Dinosaur Center, a world class museum with terrific tours to nearby paleontological digs; the historic Hot Springs State Park, just at the north end of town, the largest mineral springs in the world; and the petroglyph site about 25 miles northwest of town, featuring amazing carvings in rock, some 11,000 years old. The motel balcony is decorated with delightful chain saw bear sculptures. Has a rustic but very welcoming feel, and we'd stay with them again.

The Elk Antler Inn was fine, adequate. Clean and mostly as described, but be aware that despite the icon on their website, there is no continental breakfast. There are no coffee makers in the rooms, but you can get coffee and tea in the office cabin. But that's all; no food. Also no clock of any sort in the rooms and sound travels through the adjoining and outside cinder-block walls well. And the trout are picky (and big :)), but I can't pin that on the motel.

Clean motel. We stayed for a wedding weekend. They accommodated our early check in and a dog. Nice lady at check in and check out. We have stayed here one other time and we will stay again when we are in town.
