5 stars for the hotel. 0 stars for the fishing, the fishing did not live up to expectations
If I could give LESS THAN A 1 STAR, I WOULD! Do not stay here! The owner intentionally and maliciously gave away our room for the eclipse, even though I had confirmed with him multiple times, and my name was still on the reservation log when we attempted to check in. The room they showed us as a possibility was dirty, and the property smelled like there was something dead. When we went back after dinner to see if they had figured out our accommodations, the office was dark, and they wouldn't answer the phone.
Well priced good motel. Owner is very accommodating and really nice.
Honestly I don't know how I would rate this place, knowing how the manager treats and talks to his employees.
Okay for what you pay. Dated with a fresh coat of paint.
