A nice property, intimate in size. A group of friends and I came here specifically to bathe in the hot springs, and having a hot tub filled with the spring water is by far our favorite amenity. The breakfast bar is better than average, having a fine selection of foods for every conventional taste. The staff is courteous and attentive but not intrusive. While not fancy, everything in the rooms and lobby is tasteful and comfortable. I look forward to my visit in the future.
The rooms are beautifully renovated with comfortable beds. The hotel is located in beautiful Hot Springs State Park with its very own hot spring - an perfect way to unwind after a long day. The breakfast is also delicious. They offer way more than your average "free hot breakfast"!
This hotel is amazing! The decor is fabulous, so homey and comfortable. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud, the bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The homemade chocolate chip cookies and quiche in the morning is to die for. The hot springs hot tub is so clean and the grounds are amazing. Just staying a night or two is like a mini vacation in the middle of a whirlwind business trip!
Excellent property and staff. Hot tub with natural hot springs water open 24-hours. Comfortable, well-equipped room. Out of probably hundreds of "breakfast included" hotel stays, this breakfast was by far the most excellent. The chef had prepared an exquisite quiche, and the other breakfast items were top notch. No negatives about this place. It's right next door to Hot Springs State Park if you want to pay money for a kiddie park and the same waters in a large public venue.
I would have given this hotel a 4 or 5 star, but the bed in my room was probably the cheapest bed you could buy. I have stayed in lots of Best Westerns and the beds have always been great. I pulled my sheet back and the mattress is one of those blue mattresses that are extremely cheap and as hard as a rock. For the price of the room, you would think it would have a better mattress. Was here 4 night's and tossed and turned all of them. The rest of the room was very spacious with beautiful log furniture, absolutely loved the walk in shower. Didn't get to use the hot tub but it looked great.
